We are looking to hire a Financial Accountant to work at an Engineering Company based in Stellenbosch. The role is a great opportunity to work in a company with opportunities for further growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Capturing of customer and supplier invoices
Loading of bank payments
Prepare and process journals entries to trial balance level
Complete general ledger operations
Monthly supplier closings and reconciliations
Monthly customer closings and reconciliations
Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
Accounts/bank reconciliations
Keep and maintain an adequate filing system
Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasts
Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT, PAYE, Income Tax and WCA
Completing VAT201 and EMP201 reconciliations and returns
Assist with ad hoc tasks

Minimum Requirements:
Total of 5 years of professional working experience
Registered AGA(SA), PA(SA).
Ability to work long hours
Ability to work under pressure
Good command of English & Afrikaans language
Pastel Evolution / Xero / Ability to learn new accounting software
