SA Metal Group is South Africa’s oldest and largest metal recycling company, and proudly turned 100 years old in 2019. The Group purchases and processes all forms of ferrous metals (steel and others) and non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper and others) from industrial enterprises, scrap metal dealers and private individuals. Our processing facilities are located in and around Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria.
The Satellite Sites team requires a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join their team as a Cleaner. The successful candidate will be required to work within the Satellite Sites department at our Blackheath and Kraaifontein branch. The position will require the Cleaner to travel between these branches.
RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW) :
Cleaning of floors, work areas
Clean, dust and polish furniture and fittings
Sweeping and mopping of floors
Cleaning of walls and windows
Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen, toilet and bathroom fixtures and floors
Empty and clean waste containers daily
Clean areas surrounding buildings, such as paths and entrances
QUALIFYING CRITERIA :
Minimum Grade 10
3-5 years minimum working experience as a cleaner
Ability to write and read in English
Must be presentable
Must be able to travel between Kraaifontein and Blackheath
