Job Purpose:

BIL is in the market for drivers within their Rosslyn operations, the primary function of the role is to ensure that all vehicles delivered and collected are in good condition and that all documentation are correct in line with the BidvestIL Standard Operating Procedures. The successful incumbents will also be responsible to ensure that all vehicles are compliant with the clients Coaching Instructions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications: Senior certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent Valid Code 08 Drivers License Experience: 2+ Year driving Warehouse/ Stock yard background will be a positive Vehicle Storage operation – Receiving, binning, picking and dispatch Scanner Handling

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Execute system transaction accordingly and within the KPI parameters and handling procedure Ensuring that no units is moved without the correct procedures Reporting of incorrect instructions received Responsible for the safety of all people involved in the Yard Maintain a high state of cleanliness in and around the vehicle Pulling of vehicles for carriers and all other movement in the yard. Ensure vehicle is parked correctly in the parking bay, as per client’s requirements. Inform the Supervisor/Yard co-ordinater immediately of any damages to vehicles. ISO: Ensure processes and procedures are followed as per the customer expectation Adheres to all BidvestIL policies and procedures

SHE: Reporting of any incident as and when it happens Ensure compliance to correct PPE at all times Ensuring compliance to SHE procedures and standards 5S: Ensuring the maintaining of 5S in areas of responsibility.
