Will be servicing the Gauteng area
Job Purpose: This role requires a dynamic and driven individual who is a ‘natural’ at dealing with customers, has experience in managing a technical workshop operation, and is technically well–equipped to run with various projects at the same time.

Key Performance Areas:

Servicing, maintaining, and growing the customer base
Assist customers with technical support with regards to pump selection and applications
Follow-through of quotes/tenders/technical advice
Liaison with maintenance personnel, consulting engineers, mining houses, municipalities and end-users
Prepare sales reports
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers

Candidate Requirements:

Matric
Sales and Marketing qualification (IMM or equivalent) will be an advantage
Technical qualifications based in engineering products will be an advantage
1- 2 years’ experience in sales in the pump industry
Must have a valid driver’s licence

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Mechanical aptitude
Technical aptitude
Good interpersonal skills
Good technical skills base in pumps, spares, ancillary equipment, and applications
General administration skills
Computer literate

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) on all levels
Must be able to multi-task and ensure all tasks are completed within given timeframes
Attention to detail
Able to work under pressure whilst remaining adaptable, focused and flexible
Decisive and assertive when appropriate Use own initiative and be proactive
Well-groomed and highly presentable Prepared to work after hours if and when required
Having a “can-do attitude” Being growth-orientated
