Main Responsibilities or Functions of Job (describe Major Responsibilities)

The receiving of stock from the DC and Stores, off-loading, opening, and unpacking of parcels received

Assist customers with the collections promptly and ensure that the relevant documents are completed

After hours stand by when required

Filing and keeping of records both stores and workshops

Assist with stock checks in consignment warehouses

Required Skills and Capabilities:

Good knowledge and understanding of general store keeping

The understanding flow of goods through the warehouse from goods receiving to picking and issuing of goods

Computer literacy

Understanding of the BPCS systems will be an advantage

Interpersonal skills to work with customers and suppliers

Educational Qualification:

Grade 12 / Technical Background

Other Abilities/Skills:

Understanding of storekeeping.

Valid driver’s licence

Clean police record for work in restricted areas
