Overview

The person will be required to drive, deliver products/raw materials within the plant and outside the plant.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Code 14 driver’s license with Dangerous Goods Permit.
Hazardious chemicals certificate (Hazchem)

Qualification / Professional Membership

1 year demonstrated experience in an Explosives environment.

Experience

3 years demonstrated experience in truck/tractor driving
1 year demonstrated experience in a production environment

Duties

To drive, deliver products/raw materials within the plant and outside the plant to clients
To perform Packaged distribution Assistant duties as and when required
Adherence to SHERQ compliance
Job Competencies
Mechanical ability (advantageous)
Troubleshooting (Fault finding)
Communication skills (verbal & written)
Must be a dependable person that is able to work unsupervised, independently
Truck driving skills under all road conditions
