Job Description & Summary

A career in Infrastructure and Property, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be a part of developing and managing the PwC operational infrastructure that allows us to support our people and our clients. We focus on all aspects of internal infrastructure services from real estate site selection, facilities management, and physical security to managing relationships with Firm travel partners and event planning.

Our Office Services team is responsible for managing the well being of our office environment as well as responding to office requests from PwC partners and staff to help keep the office running smoothly.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To facilitate and reinforce the professional standards and values of work excellence advocated by PwC, by providing a highly efficient service to both clients/visitors and PwC employees, as well as performing all organisational tasks timeously and thoroughly.

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

Receiving of Clients

Welcoming of clients/visitors and immediately notifying appropriate staff members.

Arrange for beverages when the client has to wait.

Check in and check out visitors on the Wizzpass system.

Ensure the correct host is selected.

Issue sticker or access card depending on the meeting spaces booked.

Communicate instruction/notifications regarding specific arrangements to all Receptionists.

Assisting Clients and contractors

Assist with Wi-Fi password while in the Business Lounge

Follow -up when clients are waiting for the host.

Inform IFS Managers when contractors have arrived.

Ensure that all contractors check in and out with the correct host listed.

Direct clients to seating area

Assisting Staff

Direct staff to different departments or control room if they require access cards
Setting Up Of Meeting Rooms when rotating and assisting in other areas

Ensure all meeting rooms are prepared and ready for the client’s arrival.

Ensure all equipment in the meeting room is operational

Ensure that all furniture has been checked.

Liaise with the cleaning team and tea ladies when rooms are vacated to prepare for the next meeting.

Liaise and confirm with Africa Tech that the set up for video conference calls are ready.

Always ensure the rooms are left clean and neat.

Access Card Liaison

Refer all staff and permanent contractors to the control room if access cards are required.

Issue access cards to visitors that are booked for 3rd floor, 4th floor & 25th floor.

Beverage Liaison

Liaise with the Catering Co-ordinator, when there are visitors in the Business Lounge.

Knowledge & Reception Maintenance

Know who the Partners are and where they sit.

Be familiar with where staff are located.

Know where all the departments are situated.

Monitor and manage the general aesthetic appearance of the Reception area.

Keep updated with all changes made on the reception systems

Development and Training

Complete all mandatory e-learning on time

Compulsory tanning required for First Aid, Fire Marshals and H&S representatives

Quarterly Snapshots to be completed

Participate in all L&D opportunities provided.
