Introduction:

Tracker requires the services of an Assistant Cook in their canteen based at the Head Office in Johannesburg. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract position.

Job description:

Prepares and cooks food under the supervision of the Head Cook in the company canteen facilities.
Serve food to customers/employees
Notify Head Cook when canteen supplies run out. Stock taking
Daily cleaning of kitchen, equipment, fridges/ freezers, work surfaces, walls and storeroom, washing of dishes, cutlery and glassware
Provide good customer service to all customers

Minimum requirements:

Matric/GR 12 advantageous
Not necessarily a qualified chef.
Basic literacy and cooking experience preferably restaurant background.
