Full Job Description
Our Client is looking to employ a Shipping Admin Clerk.
Duties And Responsibilities:
-Prepare high volume duty drawback claims utilizing both computerized and manual systems and files.
-Assisting with preparation and submission of complete duty refund claim applications (DA66) to SARS
-Prepare the necessary documentation, quality control and collate all relevant import documentation in line with SARS legislations
-Contribute to the achievement of team targets and facilitate problem solving within the process of the core job functio
-Quality control check drawback claims / refund jackets.
-Manage multiple concurrent drawback claims
-Keep a detailed register of all draw back claims
Qualifications And Experience:
-Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
-A completed qualification in Shipping/ Import and Export / Freight forwarding/ International trade.
-Must be computer literate with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills
-Ability to work accurately, with strict attention to detail
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly pressurized environment and able to meet deadlines
-Collaborative attitude
