Junior Bookkeeper | Administration Clerk wanted urgently: APPLY NOW

Job Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicate with managers to coordinate schedules
Prepare essential documentation, including memos, reports, and other forms of communication
Handle human resource duties, including managing personnel databases and payroll duties issue payslips etc.
Receive Stock from suppliers, and inspect goods delivered.
Answer and respond to organization emails and phone calls, and forward communications to other managers.
Maintains and organizes meeting schedules , and take meeting minutes.
Regularly check and maintain record of necessary office supplies
Communicate regularly with managers to help procure needed items
Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and issue/record invoices etc.
Record invoices on accounting platforms Sage, Pastel, or similar softwares.
Prepare Cash book and petty cash expenses.
Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events.
Perform other office duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements and Skills:

Associate’s degree/or diploma in basic bookeeping and administration
Minimum 4 years of experience for entry-level positions
Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite and other online tools
Experienced in using accounting software such as SageOnline, Xero, Pastel etc.
Knowledge of email systems, including Microsoft Outlook and similar.
Strong communication skills
The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed
Self-motivated and highly organized
Distinctly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong and proven work ethic
Flexible to work as scheduled, ability to work on weekend when required
ability to commute to work easily.

******Candidate must be available immediately or on short notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R9,000.00 – R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Driver’s license (Required)

Shift availability:

Day Shift (Required)
Night Shift (Preferred)

Expected Start Date: 2023/08/01
