Main Purpose of the Job
Pam Golding Properties Vaal Triangle is looking to partner with people who are ambitious, driven by success, motivated by reward and able to work to targets to join our successful team. We want Property Practitioners who are curious, determined, persistent with great attention to detail, but also sociable and outgoing.
The role is about the successful marketing and selling of property and continued growth of market share, whilst providing excellent customer service to ensure that the Pam Golding Properties brand ethos is upheld. Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and their own reliable vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Collecting information about properties (lead generation)
Canvassing properties to sell
Property staging and photography
Visit sellers and must be able to talk knowledgably about their property and area
Valuation – able to apply sound principles when estimating the value of a property
Organise and attend show days
Able to put together a marketing plan for a property
Represent the seller in negotiations with potential buyers
Monitor sales and liaise with all stakeholders including mortgage brokers, conveyancers and other estate agents
Able to knowledgably advise sellers and buyers
Keeping up to date with trends in the local residential property market as well as the general market
Provide guidance and assist sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property for the right price under the best terms
Determine clients’ needs and financials abilities to propose solutions that suit them
Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters, ensuring a fair and honest dealing
Perform comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value
Display and market real property to possible buyers; • Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, mandates, listings)
Maintain and update listings of available properties
Develop networks and cooperate with attorneys, mortgage lenders
Promote sales through advertisements, open houses, and listing services
Remain knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices.
Key Competencies:
- Proven track of successful sales record
- Pleasant and trustworthy
- MS Office familiarity
- Real estate agent’s FFC.
Education & Experience:
- Completion of a NQF4 Further Education and Training Certificate in Real Estate with a Services SETA (SSETA) accredited training provider
- Proven working experience as a real estate agent or real estate salesperson
- Must have valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport
- Must live in Vanderbijlpark
- Must be able to sustain yourself financially for at least 6 to 8 months before you start earning commission
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
