Nexus Seals is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and optimise our warehouse operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate staff, enhance stock control, minimise stock loss, and improve stock accuracy. The successful candidate will also ensure the warehouse areas are well-organised and easy to navigate, driving improved performance among current warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:
· : Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, putting away, picking, and inventory control.
· : Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices to ensure accurate stock levels and minimise discrepancies. Lead regular physical counts and reconcile any discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
· : Ensure that warehouse areas are organised and easy to navigate, optimising space utilisation and workflow efficiency.
· : Provide training, coaching, and constructive feedback to warehouse staff to improve their performance. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
· : Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and ensuring compliance with standard operational procedures.
· : Measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to the General Manager, using these metrics to drive continuous improvement.
· : Prepare stock reorder lists by analysing inventory levels, sales data, and supplier lead times to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise shortages.
Requirements:
· : Ability to effectively communicate, lead, and resolve conflicts.
· : In-depth knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods.
· : Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software.
· : A matric certificate is essential.
· : Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehousing or third-party logistics, with a focus on inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting.
