Core functions of the Administrative Assistant:
To support the Retail Chair in the managing of the Retail chair administrative office in the implementation of the policies, procedures, and systems. The aim is to ensure excellent service and alignment with the objectives of the DUT Retail Chair administrative office.
Manage queries (responses and referrals)
Co-ordinate records of all the Retail Chair activities
Responsible for minute taking and all admin responsibilities for all meetings
Validate and update all records and follow up to ensure capturing of information
Arrange and notify Retail Chair Board and committee members of respective meetings
Obtain and verify information ensuring administrative procedures are complete
Act as the secretary at the Retail Chair Governance Board and Management operations committee meetings recording all decisions and taking appropriate follow-up action including forwarding relevant committee decisions and documents to the other committee
1 year of administration experience.
Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Minute taking skills
Ability to work in a team
