A Wholesale and Retail Book distributor seeks a reliable and presentable driver to drive a company vehicle to deliver stock safely and efficiently to designated locations.

Key responsibilities:

Delivery Driver

· Ensure correct stock and quantities are being loaded/offloaded as per delivery notes

· Will lift heavy products or parcels

· Loading company vehicle with stock for delivery

· Driving company vehicle with stock

· Delivering stock from one point to another

· Weekly Vehicle Inspection and reporting of defects to management

· Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards

Forklift Driver/ General Worker

When you are not out on delivery you will be required to assist in the warehouse. These tasks include

· Driving the forklift as and when required

Sticking stickers on products

· Picking stock for stores

· Packing stock coming off the pallets

· Cleaning and packing stock

· Assisting where there is a shortage of staff

· Housekeeping

Minimum requirements:

· Matric or NQF level 4

Forklift License

· Valid drivers license & PDP

· At least 2 years’ driving experience

· At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
