TECHNICAL WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe transport services for all business requirements
Manage the maintenance of the company vehicles and units
Vehicle is clean, tidy and in excellent working condition at all times
Vehicle is secured at all times
Daily maintenance checks: fuel, oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc.
Arrange for any necessary repairs and services, manage the vehicle spare parts inventory list
Prepare and submit vehicle monitoring report, including records of vehicle operations, maintenance, expenses, mileage, fuel, and oil consumption
Manage the Logbook
Performs all routine maintenance and interior cleaning services for the mobile unit
Implement punctuality and safe transport sound navigation skills
Observe road and traffic laws and regulations
Adhere to safe driving practices including local driving codes and internally agreed standards
Requirements:
YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualification/Professional Membership
Grade 12
Valid Code 10 Drivers License
Valid Professional Drivers Permit (PDP)
Advantageous
Safe Driving Course or Similar
Work Proven Experience
5 years’ driving experience
Other requirements
Pass a Medical/Physical fitness test
Overnight travel by land when required
Overtime when required
Understanding of HIV/AIDS and TB
Fluency in local languages (Setswana, English, SeSotho, Xhosa, Afrikaans)
Adherence to driving regulations and knowledge of legislation
