Driver Trainer wanted urgently: Salary R18 000 to R20 000 per month

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure that training is up to date and documented for the region
Coordinate effective prescreening and training of new staff
Coordinate and conduct regular in-cab assessments
Conduct practical driver skills assessments prior to employment
Identify training needs from incidents/accidents and recommend necessary training requirements to meet required performance standards and do retraining where necessary
Know and understand all new and existing transport regulations, guidelines and policies
Coordinate regionally the development, implementation and presentation of training material to learners

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

Matric or Equivalent Qualification
Certificate or Diploma in Transport Management advantageous
Have a formal driver training qualification from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 10 years Code 14 Truck Driver experience + 5 years driver training experience in road freight transport environment
Must have training experience on Ultra Heavy Vehicles, Trailers, Links, drawbars
Teta Accreditation – Operate vehicle combination (122 credits)
Assessor and Moderator knowledge
Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
