About the Role

Travel Creative Agency is a fresh and dynamic new destination management company that specializes in bespoke packaging and targeting by making the most of the digital assets available. The ideals candidate for this roll will be independent, not afraid of anything digital and very comfortable engaging with people on both digital and personal levels.

Travel Consultants will be managed by means of targets, commission, and incentives and are expected to be online ad respond to enquiries on the go. Although the position would allow a certain amount of flexibility, product knowledge will remain vital and weekly briefs compulsory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities – not limited to:

Marketing and Communication

Assist with identifying and communicating in bespoke online and offline groups that are relevant to the brands represented.
Assist with conceptualizing specials and deals and sending them out to relevant persons of interest.
Build and maintain a database of clients and communicate relevant offers through to them.
Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with brands and products.
Retain a high level of product and brand knowledge and apply all brand principles and guidelines as and where needed.
Assist with identifying advertising opportunities for the brands.

Admin

Assist with website updates, SOP writing, and email database management.
Assist with identifying initiatives and ways to further engage and attract clients.
Work with the operational team to ensure clients are happy and get feedback on how they are being received, then adjust accordingly.
Identify and proactively manage and engage with the VIP client.
Ensure the database is kept up to date with member geographic, demographic and psychographic information as well as spend.
Assist with annual database cleanups to remove redundant members as per policy set.
Own all you client Opera profiles.

Sales

Engage in the larger community by attending events, sending time at properties and networking with local businesses and brands in order to meet prospective members and enhance the service offering.
Promote and upsell product services to clients.
Produce monthly reports linked to set sales objectives including analysis of revenue streams (ie campaigns).
Obtain a true understanding of rate and sales strategies, including profile rates.
Proactively engage with members and gather data on their objectives. Use this data to identify services, promotions and benefits that could help maximise spend and experience.

Customer Relationship Management

Analyze and engage with prospective and existing clients with the objective to maximize revenue and identify potential business opportunities.
Assist with managing and resolving customer complaints
Adopt and out of the box and can-do approach to each inquiry
Reservations

Accurately record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email in the Property management system (Opera).
Assist with, book and meticulously follow up on any alternative reservations guests require. These include but are not limited to restaurant bookings, transfers, tours, etc. Ensure all relevant notes are added to the PMS profile.
All correspondence to be attended too and answered within 24 hours.
Process amendments to reservations such as extensions, early departures, etc .
Manage “no show” reservations by investigation and recording of the same .
Record special billing arrangements for reservations in all business segments.
All reservation details: special requests, arrival times, value adds etc to appear on correspondence accurately and in PMS. Properties to be made aware of guests’ special requests.
Liaise with Reservations/ Finance & Sales Manager for all reservations requiring credit approval
Maintain knowledge of special rates/ offers/promotions.
Immediate communication, to the front office, of amendments to on the day arrivals.
Follow-up on all provisional bookings. Ensure that the bookings are confirmed with deposits / full prepayments/voucher numbers where applicable.
Follow-up on any special requests, tourism service bookings and arrival times.
Communication of any special / VIP bookings to the operational team.
Accept waitlist reservations, record and follow up on PMS.
