Accounts/Finance Clerk wanted immediately: Salary R12 000 per month

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile nine x cashbooks to the bank statements daily
Cashbook processing (local currency and foreign currency) – nine x bank accounts
Daily emailing of cash receipts for cash customers to sales staff
Processing and reconciling cash accounts and following up on discrepancies with all branches.
Issuing, processing and reconciling of petty cash for four x accounts/branches as per policy
Perform daily petty cash reconciliations
Daily cash management and ensuring that money is banked as per banking policy
Processing daily cash-ups for all the branches (four) and making sure that these have been correctly recorded and no cash ups are outstanding
Preparing journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
Processing and reconciling Nedfleet account/fleet
Perform ad hoc assignments as required
Filing/general administration

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience:

At least a national diploma/degree in accounting/finance
At least three years of accounting experience or similar background
Experience with ERP systems/software/MS Suite
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Knowledge of payroll taxes (PAYE, UIF and SDL), VAT, exports and imports
