Job Description:

You will take on a range of different maintenance tasks under the direction of your manager and you will be supervising the artisans in the maintenance and installation of electrical equipment and services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Electrical Installation, maintain equipment and working areas at “Zero Tolerance” compliance
Ensure use of proper procedure and required safety devices for all hazardous tasks
Implements and maintains applicable Safety, Regulations, The Act, Codes of practice and standards
Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident report
Ensure that all appropriate work specification, procedures and legal requirements are applied to the use of equipment& machinery and related safety devices
Liaises with the engineering team and other role players regarding daily, weekly and monthly needs in the area
Schedules breakdown requests and installation needs with relevant role players
This role is in the Engineering Department at a C5 Level reporting to the Section Engineer

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

Grade 12
Electrician Trade Certificate
Foreman Certificate
Medium Voltage Certificate
SAP R3
To be successful, you will have the following experience:

3 to 5 years post-trade qualified experience
Supervisory experience would be advantageous

Additional information:

Valid driving license code 08
Please note if successful, you will need to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
This role will require shift work and overtime
