ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

The candidate must have experience in basic repairs such as fixing desks, doors, and locks.
Must be able to handle the Buff and Polisher machine.
Candidate must be prepared to clean classrooms, school hall, administration area as well as maintaining and cleaning the school grounds.
Capable of doing basic electrical maintenance and plumbing work would be beneficial.
Candidate must be able to do woodwork or carpentry, would count in candidate’s favour.
Candidate must be prepared to sanitize and clean toilets, work in the garden and keep the overall school premises neat and tidy.
Must be prepared to assist in securing a safe and secured environment and act in the best interest of the school, staff, learners, and visitors to the school.
Candidate must have sober habits.
Candidate must be in good health.
Candidate must be prepared to do practical demonstrations in terms of carpentry, basic electrical work, and basic plumbing work if shortlisted for the post.
Candidate must be prepared to work in a team.
Candidate must be able to communicate (speak) in English or Afrikaans.
Candidate must be prepared to work after hours should the school have functions or workshops after school or during weekends or school holidays.
