Afinta in JHB is searching for a General Worker to perform the below key duties, these will include, but not limited to;

To ensure customer service excellence is achieved daily.
To ensure timekeeping.
Active commitment towards continuous improvement of performance within the operation.
Ensure parts numbers and quantities correspond to that on the invoice.
Ensure timely picking, packing and binning or parts
Check panels are checked for damages.
Ensure housekeeping is done in the relevant area.
Occasional overtime
Daily

Ensure all invoices, picking slips are picked and checked.
Ensure all parts are picked according to invoices.
Inspect all panel orders prior dispatching.
Communicate closely with the relevant departments regarding stock
Check that part numbers and quantities match the invoice.
Assist in general warehouse duties when required.
Check general housekeeping.
Checking customer samples.
Ensure that all instructions from management are complied with and adhered to.
Ensure all picking slips and invoices are picked and up to date
Ensure all parts are checked per quantities and correctly binned.
Ensure all RFC’s are done timeously.
Ensure all parts are packed neatly in boxes.
Ensure all panel parts are inspected and packaged correctly.
Ensure all parcels have label stickers on.
Ensure that IBT parcels are loaded into the appointed courier vehicle.
Ensure waybills are completely filled out.
Ensure parts are dispatched to the correct branch.
Ensure all parts and quantities are check as per invoice.
Perpetual/cycle counts.
Weekly

Ensure all picking slips are picked and up to date.
Your job description is not limited to the above duties and responsibilities, but you will need to perform any other reasonable instruction given by management from time to time.

Key requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric certificate is essential
Computer literate
Must be honest and show integrity
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
