Purpose: The purpose of these general tasks related to the blending of spirit-based products in the Spirit Blending department at Paarl. The incumbent will be responsible for (but not limited to) general assistance during blending activities according to procedure and standards. Perform administrative duties related to blending and general housekeeping. Ensure that they will be responsible for and continually strive to do their part to ensure that only a safe, quality product, which meets all applicable standards and requirements is manufactured.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Forklift licence would be to your advantage
Basic computer, numerical and technical skills
2-3 years’ experience in a production environment
Understanding Quality in a production environment
Application of HACCP/VACCP/TACCP (cellar hygiene)

Skills Required:

Knowledge of general cellar work
Experience related to tank transfers
No fear of heights
No fear for small spaces (claustrophobic)

Ensuring tanks are cleaning and ready for use
Tank to tank transfers
Offloading of trucks
Sampling of product
Cleaning of cellar area
Ensure adherence to Health and safety regulations
Responsible for ad hoc duties in Department as required
