Description of Duties:

Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests Identifying worn and damaged parts. Excellent knowledge of MAN trucks, Reconditions and replaces parts, such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves, and bushings, using engine lathes, boring machines, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems and performing preventive maintenance Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Daily management of vehicle service centre assistants in terms of time management and productivity Complete Job Card Submission after execution of every Work Instruction Daily service Centre activities Manage productivity levels of the team Conducting inspections and diagnostics Manage service Centre staff, daily staff schedules and developing of the team

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or N3 Level Valid drivers license Management experience At least 8 – 10 years experience Valid Code EB drivers licence Qualification as either Petrol or Diesel Mechanic
