Requirements to become a tutor:

A passion for teaching
Live in South Africa
A South African ID, passport or a current work visa
A minimum of 80% at a matric level
A minimum of 75% at a university level
If you have a similar qualification of an equal or higher calibre please feel free to apply.

What you will need to become an online tutor with Teach Me 2:

A laptop or Desktop – Phones/Tablets are not suitable
A Webcam and Microphone – these are usually built in if you have a laptop (earphone microphones also work great)

An internet connection of 1-2 mbps up and down or higher – 3G/LTE/phone hotspot is not acceptable. You can check your internet speed by clicking on this link: https://www.speedtest.net/

Please note: During completion of the online application, you will be required to add your location. Please add your current location — when you get accepted as a tutor with us, we will send you the relevant steps to get started with tutoring online.
