Octotel is Cape Town’s largest Open Access Network focused on both Fibre To The Home (FTTH) and Business (FTTB). We are looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude to join our team.
Prepare documents and submit adhoc payments twice a week
Prepare documents for suppliers and contractors accounts and submit invoices for payment every month
Procurement & Logistics
Keep records and documents updated with relevant information relating to orders placed with suppliers and maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Assist with verifying invoices from contractors and processing them for payment
Assist with administrative tasks when required
Verify and capture overtime of production staff on a weekly basis.
Assist with HR administration: Sicknote investigation and follow-ups with staff as well as compiling the daily absenteeism report.
Submit workman’s compensation claims.
Submit vehicle and equipment insurance claims.
Assist with administrative tasks when required.
administration skills: 4 to 5 years
Procurement related role (Placing orders, dealing with suppliers and inventory)
5 years in an administrative role.
Strong understanding of creditors and payments process.
High accuracy, attention to detail and consistency in daily tasks.
Self-starter and problem solver.
Strong administrative skills: Email communication, dealing with shared documents and capturing of information.
Understanding of stock control.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Positive attitude and a go-getter approach.
Strong-willed and striving for a leadership role.
Strong organisational skills, prioritising and time management.
This position reports to the Procurement Manager
