Job Summary:

Serves as the primary administrative resource for the sales department by monitoring key systems and processes and supporting the Sales Manager and Team Leaders in ensuring continuous and timely updates on such systems for the efficient operation on the department.

Key Performance Areas:

Vendor document administration
Sales systems monitoring and administration
Reporting
General sales and marketing administration

Key Duties:

Monitor customer contracts and proactively ensure performance against agreements including time lines are maintained in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders
Update all internal systems and collaborative platforms with sales and marketing information timely and accurately
Monitor and ensure all processes and procedures are followed and liaise with the department manager and team leaders on deviations or improvements
Perform regular customer data verification and audits to ensure information is current, valid and correct
Administration of opportunities on vendor and supplier platforms in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Compile and produce reports as required
Coordinate meetings, events and training for the department including all logistical requirements, documentation and minutes when required
Provide adhoc and general administrative departmental or interdepartmental support when required

The above list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to undertake reasonable additional duties/projects requested by the Department Manager/Director.

Education and Qualifications Required:

Grade 12 (essential)
Administrative or secretarial qualification (essential)

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years in an administration role (non-negotiable)
Experience in a sales admin role (advantageous)
Experience working in an ICT/IT company (advantageous)
Experience working on financial / ERP Systems (Fincon advantageous)

Required Skills, Knowledge and Personal Characteristics:

Proficient in Microsoft office and above-average Ms. Excel skills
Good problem solving and Analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively on own initiative
Good team and collaboration skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong Administration skills
