Key Performance Areas
Receive new order/indent from forwarding and clearing agent
Acknowledge receipt of order.
Confirm the terms of the shipment and obtain copy of order.
Email overseas office and arrange the order.
Facilitate responsive turnaround time.
Follow up and ensure order is received by overseas office.
Arrange all formalities for forwarding on import shipments,
Compiling quotations for air and sea, import and export
Liaising with overseas office for booking and intended vessel details.
Ensure cargo sails as per booking confirmation
Continuously update the client step by step after each process.
Obtain bill of lading (Draft) Make sure the client approves it and add Notify party of the forwarding agent.
Liaising with the clients and updating them on their shipments in the form of status reports and ensuring that the service level being given is above standard
Continuous flow of communication between overseas office and client.
Updating and sending Import tariffs on a monthly basis.
Extracting Monthly statistics per client
Updating client local charges
Qualifications Required
MIN 5 years Import Forwarding Experience
