PIA in Nelspruit is searching for a Scooter Driver (x2) to report to the Warehouse Manager and ensure that all parts order by a customer are delivered accurately and timeously without any damages or short supplies.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspecting of the vehicle and completion of inspection sheets before departure.
Inspection lists to be handed back to Dispatch Supervisor every morning and to sign for keys of allocated vehicle in the register.
To ensure that all faults / defects on delivery vehicle been reported on Inspection sheet.
To ensure that daily opening kilometers been recorded on Inspection sheet.
To ensure to load as per delivery schedule ensuring on time delivery to customers.
To ensure that all Invoice numbers on Trip sheets is checked against parcels been loaded into delivery vehicle.
To ensure that all collection notes for specific route is collected and stock collected from customers.
To ensure that all oil is loaded before leaving dispatch area.
To ensure when loading of parcels no stock or parcels are damaged.
To ensure when delivering to a customer all POD’s are signed and all collections are collected as per collection notes.
To ensure that if a customer pay by means of COD all relevant information is captured on the receipt note.
To ensure all RFC’s is handed in to RFC department on return from deliveries before end of shift.
To ensure that all POD’s and petrol slips are returned to respective departments before end of shift.
To ensure that vehicle keys and fuel cards are signed back into register by means of name and signature.
To ensure that canopy are locked at all times during delivery route.
Outstanding trip sheets will be your responsibility and you will be held liable for any claims on No pod queries.
Maintaining and cleaning of the delivery vehicle,
Report any problems encountered regarding deliveries or POD`s to the dispatch supervisor
Job description is not limited to the above duties and responsibilities, but you need to perform any other reasonable instruction given by management from time to time
To ensure that their timekeeping is managed, and their supervisors are notified of any absence.
To adhere to company BSOP.
To adhere to any safety rules.
To assist their superiors with any other duties when required.

Grade 12/Matric certificate
Valid Driver’s License Minimum of 3 years
Valid PDP
