Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards,

Supervise the maintenance of a warehouse/storeroom and ensure proper arrangement of stock,

We are looking for an experienced and mature Stock Controller who is energetic and self-motivated, can work under pressure and put in extra efforts to meet tight deadlines while paying close attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Responsible for the neat, orderly and safe storage of all stock
Ensure all products are correctly labelled
Conduct a weekly stock take
Co-ordinate and manage stocktakes and cycle count
Report the above to management
Co-ordinate the physical receiving of new stock on local and international deliveries
Check documentation for deliveries received
Conduct regular checks to ensure the physical quantities match the system quantities

Ideal candidate will have:

Sound judgement and a pro-active approach to problem-solving and decision making
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
Willingness to work overtime from time to time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical, Critical Thinking & Planning skills.

Experience:

Warehouse: 3 years (Required)
MS Office: 2 years (Preferred)
SAP: 3 years (Preferred)

Education: High School (matric) (Required)

Licence: Code 08 (Required)
