Warehouse Stock Controller needed: APPLY NOW

Diep River, Western Cape

Roll and responsibilities:

Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
Picking and packing various orders, double-checking
Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed,
Overseeing receiving area, coordinating with office admin regarding PO’s placed and matching thereof,
Track shipments and address any delays and product changes,
Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items such as fresh fish and produce,
Coordinate in warehouse transfers between distribution and production kitchen,
Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality
Keep updated inventory records
Coordinate in warehouse waste and production events,

Skills and experience:

Proven work experience in Stock Controlling, Inventory Management, and excel
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Working knowledge of inventory management software
Active participation in inventory audits/inventory counts
Excellent organization skills
Good communication
