As Technical Estimating Engineer MV, you will be responsible for estimating of MV switchgear (and LV switchgear will be an added advantage) to include all control, protection, metering of switchgear and automatization of plant.

Your main duties:
Understanding and interpreting of the specifications noted in the enquiry.
Identify the most cost saving solution(s) using maximum Eaton Equipment.
Understanding site specific conditions.
Understanding of the integration from MV to LV to incorporate control and automatisation.
Implementation of health and safety standards.
Understanding of legal commercial issues.
Understand of how installations are to be performed.
Read and understand electrical drawings.
Time management to meet deadlines.
Liaising with clients and suppliers.
Mitigating risk for Eaton.
Understanding margins and delivery periods.

Qualifications

Required:
Minimum of National High Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Communication with customers professionally.
Computer skills (Office Word and Excel essential).
Knowledge of MV (LV will be an advantage) switchgear coupled with Plant Control and Automatisation.
Knowledge of Protection Relays and the working thereof.
Understanding schematic diagrams, symbols and basic communication protocols to include protection and control philosophies.

Desired:
Extensive knowledge in Excel.
Proven track record leading on business improvement initiatives.
