Your Tasks:

To integrate quality into the business by ensuring that every customer contact is a demonstration of absolute dedication towards providing first time ideal solutions for the satisfaction of customer’s immediate and future needs.
To implement ISO standards and procedures at all times.
To ensure safe and responsible operation of the vehicle at all times, you are required to be fully fit and able, mentally and physically, you are required to be free from any form of intoxication, you are required to be free from the influence of drugs (if you are taking prescribed drugs and are in any doubt of your ability you must not drive), you are to remain attentive and careful whilst in the vehicle as a passenger or driver.
You are to safeguard the wellbeing of yourself and all others e.g. passengers and other road users, pedestrians, other members of staff. (Not limited to)
You are required to ensure compliance with all legal/legislative road using requirements such as; drink driving restrictions, adherence to speed limit and all other road signage/markings, all necessary valid driving license and permit requirements.
You are required to carry your valid driver’s license at all times and if you drive a vehicle exceeding 3500kg’s you are required to obtain a PDP before driving the vehicle.
It is your responsibility to maintain and renew these licenses and permits wherever required by law.
You are required to ensure your vehicle is safe, roadworthy and without visible or otherwise noticeable defect prior to each instance of operation.
The trunker driver must make sure that all his/her shipments are assigned to his/her vehicle before leaving the DHL Gateway or DHL Station.
To ensure collections and deliveries are timeously and efficiently expedited to DHL Network standards, maintaining maximum customer service levels.
To ensure that all shipments collected from customers are security checked
To ensure all outbound shipments have the correct documentation, all inbound delivery sheets are complete and manifests for DHL Stations are signed on arrival at the DHL Gateway.
