MORE South Africa is looking for a skilled Video Editor/Creator for a contract remote role.

Start date – Immediately

Contract duration – 3 months FTC

This role will be based remotely, with one of our key clients based in Northampton. We are looking for a Video Editor/Creator with beauty retail experience. The role will play an essential part in supporting the Digital Team.

Role overview:

· Inspired design conception and content creation for video and motion graphics requirements, taking an idea from the client and bringing this to life

· Working with client and partner agencies to develop creative and engaging storyboards for digital and social campaign video content

· Working across a variety of digital channels with a focus on social and digital display

· Building and maintaining effective working relationships with all client stakeholders

· Supports other members of the team in the execution of their projects

· Demonstrates troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Delivers all projects on time and to budget and manage the smooth handover of projects from one area to another

Experience & Skills:

· Strong expertise in video editing and motion graphics for digital channels

· Expertise producing exceptional and engaging digital content for social and digital campaigns

· A love of design, motion graphics, and storytelling

· Developing inspired concepts, designs, and animations across digital channels

Ability to understand and adhere to brand guidelines
Confident in presenting and taking client and agency feedback directly
· Attention to detail is critical

Strong creative ability with Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects)
Strong video editing and sounding editing experience
Expertise generating vector illustrations
· 5+ years of video editing and motion graphics design experience

Passion for driving innovation in digital design with a focus on social content and digital display
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
A drive to break creative boundaries and craft the best solutions.
Consistently deliver high-quality work on time

OTHER ESSENTIAL POINTS TO NOTE:

As we are working remotely, it is essential that the ideal candidate have the following in place to ensure there are no delays on delivering work timeously:

· Back-up power supply, if necessary.

· Stable internet connectivity – fiber connection preferable (options can be discussed) in order to connect to remote servers as well as conduct virtual meetings daily.

· Personal computer with relevant capabilities necessary for the role.
