We are looking gor a Video editor to join our Team at HomeChoice, a well-established Cape Town-based online retailer. The successful candidate will work closely with the creative marketing team, to create high-quality video productions.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role

Edit and create engaging marketing videos from footage and stills that adhere to the brief/script and meet the production deadlines
Animate titles that adhere to the brand guidelines and engages the viewer
Select soundtracks that are appropriate for the video content and brand
Export video to selected formats

A little about who you are:

3-5 years’ relevant industry experience
A good understanding of video and audio production and editing techniques
An enthusiastic and energetic attitude and a willingness to learn
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Production managing and coordinating experience
Great conversational skills with a positive energy
Experience and a good understanding of the following Adobe software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects

Knowledge of the following software is optional, but would be beneficial:

Davinci resolve
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Audition
