Job Description

Primary Objective: To ensure distributor satisfaction through the efficient process of picking, packing and checking of stock/orders following standard operation procedure To assist in effective stock control and warehousing function. To be multi-skilled and be able to work across all Warehouses at company To assist with all warehouse activities as instructed by your supervisor or manager Main Tasks The role is directly accountable for the following items, which constitute the Main Tasks of the position:

Warehouse Assist with the re-packing of goods within the Warehouse Responsible for receiving, picking, packing, checking and despatching of goods according to the Standard Operations Procedures Correct shipping of all goods to Africa DC’S / local or export shipments / door to door deliveries Re-packing of pallets to meet shipment requirements Off-load /load containers/trucks inbound/outbound for the Warehouse To assist in the monthly/daily stocktaking cycle counts, when required To ensure that the entire National Warehouse/Longmeadow is kept clean and tidy at all times Ensuring stock rotation (FIFO) is done correctly and depending on the DC’s shelf-life requirements Correct shipping of all goods to 3rd Party Packers Adhere to all OHASA

Regulations and Requirements

Be able to drive relevant Forklifts Quality Control Inspection/sampling/testing of all incoming goods (bulk, finished, packaging) Ensure status labelling of all products and materials Managing Packaging Components Check Bulk Products prior to testing Ensure batch documentation is collated Routinely check released product for compliance to GWP in the Warehouse Ensure periodic review and documented quality control inspections of the Finished/Bulk goods Warehouse and Laboratory Ensure cleanliness of all controlled areas (Reject cage, sampling booth, retention store) Critical Success Areas To perform your duties timeously Accuracy when picking of orders Neatness of work, in general, Following all company policies and procedures

Technical Skills Minimum

Grade 12 certificate Good communication skills and professional telephone manner Good command of English – verbal and written Have basic mathematical skills. Be able to work with figures and do calculations Licence for the Counterbalance forklift, Turret forklift (man up) and pallet jack Able to work at a height of 12 meters Ability to follow all reasonable instructions by the Warehouse Manager and or Supervisor. Ability to work closely and amicably with fellow colleagues Ability to interact with distributors, be courteous, polite and well-mannered at all times Company Functions Assisting with all company events as and when required.

Sales Team meetings, Conventions and training events Able to work flexi hours to suit the requirements of the Business Operating Hours and to attend certain events which can include working over weekends Housekeeping Ensure that good housekeeping practices are met on a daily basis Ensure that the Warehouse area is kept neat and tidy at all times Comply with all OHASA Rules and Regulations Maintenance of all Warehouse equipment. Completing the warehouse equipment checklist at the start and end of each shift General Duties Perform any function that may be reasonably required from time to time Alternating between NWH and Longmeadow warehouse Recommend improved procedures.

Behavioral Skills Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills Must be detail orientated Efficient time management skills and the ability to handle simultaneous deadline pressure Must be dependable and thorough To perform duties timeously Accuracy when picking and checking of orders Literacy: Ability to read and write English Ability to work towards a deadline and under pressure Compliance with all Company Rules and Regulations Neatness of work in general Assist in executing all Warehouse related activities.
