A renowned national Wealth, Investment and Digital Marketing company are looking for an experienced “Junior Web Developer” to join their team on a full-time permanent basis for their offices in Durbanville, Cape Town.

Excellent compensation package on offer, which consists of a very good base salary (subject to qualification and or experience) plus internal career advancement opportunities.

Key Performance Areas:
Producing attractive and effective designs for all media
You’ll be working on:
Print: Logo and stationery design, posters, leaflets,

Digital: Website design, E-Newsletters, banner ads, Gifs, basic animated graphics for social media, newsletters, corporate identities, banners, and the design other digital artwork, etc.
Keeping abreast of industry developments and trends in digital marketing and design
Liaising effectively with team members

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design/digital media
Minimum of 2 years’ digital design experience
Knowledge of Wordpress, HTML, and CSS is essential
Good understanding of social media
Motion graphics/animation/video experience would be beneficial
Good copywriting/proofreading skills would be beneficial
Experience in graphic design
Experience in web design
Experience in digital design
Adobe: Muse, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Sketch
A creative portfolio demonstrating previous print, web/digital work

Personal Attributes:
Excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
Good time-management skills
Ability to execute work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
Enough confidence to share your ideas, participate in business conversations and take (or give) constructive criticism
