Job Purpose:

The successful candidates’ core function will be that of a Welder.

Duties:

General structural repairs of steelwork on Machinery
Cutting and joining of sheet metalwork
Shaping and fabricating of basic machinery structures
Straightening and re-bend of basic frames
Inspecting of power tools and welding equipment
Installing and moving of materials
Read and interpret blueprints, diagram, sketch and weld symbols to determine arrangement and procedures of assembling components
Adhere to established safety and quality policies, procedures, and practices
Housekeeping in the welder’s workshop

Qualifications and Level of Experience Required:

Matric
Experience in construction equipment/machinery will be an advantage
Understand and apply welding techniques
Must have a minimum of 2 years or more relevant working experience within the equipment rental industry would be advantageous.
Able to work independently…
Self-motivated.
Good time management.
Driving license
