We are looking for an experienced welder (universal welding experience not pure Boilermaker). To join a leading internationally based company focusing on their South African branch growth.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Providing application technical advice
Organization and execution of welding demonstrations and welding trials
Providing services such as commissioning of welding systems, expert training, production start-up, etc.
Creating application-specific welding parameters
Participating in trade fairs and providing support at national events
Passing on feedback from the market and customers to the company
Assisting with system configurations when preparing offers for complex systems

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

Technical qualification in a metalworking field such as pipeline construction, steel engineering, machine construction, shipbuilding, etc.
Welding Technology Associates Degree or similar (EWS, IWS, ASME, etc.)
Electrical knowledge would be an advantage
Good sales and communication skills as well as a customer-oriented attitude
Presentation and IT skills
Willingness to travel
Willingness to undertake further training
Cost consciousness
Team spirit with a willingness to impart knowledge to others
Driving license

Robotic experience will be a big advantage

Languages:
Full professional proficiency in English
German and Portuguese would be an advantage
