The H band Technical Lead: Retail repair Centre role based within Commercial Business Unit.

The role of the Technical Lead: Retail repair Centre is :

To manage the Retail Repair Centre (RRC) by ensuring optimal utilization of resources and maintaining optimal service levels.
To manage the end to end service delivery of the RRC to:
Deliver against flagship RRC performance metrics to ensure unmatched customer experience.
Optimization of commercial benefits
Support the business operations related to the recovery process with the manufacturers terms of financial operational aspects, service level agreements, best practice quality standards, and maintained relationships i.e. between Vodacom and partners
Deliver against best practice TAT, TNPS and Customer Experience
Manage the performance of RRC team to ensure the achievement of targets
Build &inspire team to meet and exceed key performance metrics and targets
Drive for performance and maintain the excellence of RRC as a competitive differentiator on service within a high performing environment.
To deliver on strategic projects related to business, after-sales model, etc. that forms part of an overall repairs & service model that embraces new technologies and business strategy.
Comprehensive reporting function including scheduled and adhoc data extraction, daily, weekly and monthly dashboard formulation for a Divisional, Group and EXCO level audience.
Ensure compliance and control mechanisms as part of best practice within the RRC environment with specific emphasis on stock management, manufacturer compliance.
Staff productivity and daily management to ensure best in class service as part of operating rhythm.
Your Responsibilities will include:
Oversee the performance of RRC operation, technicians and resources within target and KPI measures.
Identify and provide transfer of knowledge within the team through partners
Maintain the relationship between RRC and the partners.
Maintain efficient, effective and professional service levels in a manner that constantly meets the required performance standards
Collate, analyse and interpret data to compile daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
Maintain and control Vodacom Repairs policies and procedures
Manage risks for all tools, equipment and stock control
To successfully manage, administer and implement special projects
Implement solutions to identified problems to ensure efficient work flows
Ensure quality standards are adhered to including but not limited to QMS and EMS within the Technical Workshop
Ensure full compliance, performance parameters and calibration requirements within the RRC.
Test all systems for correct functioning and correct access whenever necessary
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Relevant Degree in Electronics Technology, or related(essential)
OR

Matric essential and minimum 5years experience within a technical role (including staff management)
Relevant certificates (e.g Electronics)
The base location for this role is Midrand
