Duties and responsibilities:

Assist with student registrations.
Assist with provisional registration.
Capture external bursary information.
Negotiate payment arrangements.
Handle account enquiries.
Journalise rectifications/changes to accounts.
Collection of fees payable (registered students).
Keep record of enquiries dealt with.

Inherent requirements:
Bachelor degree with Accounting (B.Com Acc or B.Acc) on NQF Level 7.
Two (2) years’ relevant experience in a revenue cycle associated with debtor accounts.

Required competencies:
Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Knowledge of credit management strategies and best collection processes.
Knowledge of applicable legislation (Credit Management Act/Consumer Protection Act/POPI Act)
Knowledge of applications and programs in order to conduct work (MS Word/Ms Excel/PeopleSoft).
Business Acumen.
Results-Oriented.
Strategic Thinking.
Leading.
Building Coalitions.

Assumption of duties:
As soon as possible.
