Dynamic growing company based in Linbro Park Sandton are looking for a Stock Controller

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring adequate stock availability by monitoring stock levels and communicating with Procurement on items at or below re-order level.
Ensuring that stock is signed for, received, stored and issued accurately.
Supervise receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
Attend to damaged and returned items of stock, checking the quality, recording problems and taking immediate corrective action.
Manage the efficiency of warehouse staff by coaching, counselling, planning, monitoring and appraising.
Implement and maintain housekeeping of stock and warehouse: keep aisles clear, correct stacking/racking, and labelling of sections/products, ensuring all products are in their correct stacks and racks.
Conduct stock takes and cycle counts, reporting and investigating variances

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 / Matric, Diploma/Degree in Production or Warehouse Management or Stock Control would be an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in stock control and warehousing management and/or related position.
Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
Proficient computer skills.
Physically good health – active energetic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work extended hours when necessary.
Goal-oriented, organized and a team player.
Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels.
Leadership.
Initiative.

Salary: R15,000.00 to R18,000.00 /month
