Printulu (PTY) Ltd

The Senior DTP Operator (Desktop Publisher) is accountable for pre-flighting and imposition, to optimize and automate systems and processes to ensure maximum output and minimum errors.

Outcomes

Able to supervise a pre-flighting and imposition process to have an error < 0.5% Able to automate manual pre-flighting tasks in order to ensure 100 artworks per DTP Operator per day. Ensure quarterly output increase Ensure gang efficiencies of >90% (no inefficient schemes as per process)

Excellent attention to detail

Highly analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Strong pressure management capabilities

General print and imposition knowledge in particular book work – large format experience beneficial

Process-driven

Knowledge in Pre-flight software in particular Enfocus

Minimum Requirements:

Matric

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a DTP Operation role

Minimum of 3 years’ experience within Printing

Own car and valid drivers’ licence – advantageous
