SANParks requires the services of three (3) (Restaurant Cashiers at Skukuza Safari Lodge.
Paterson Grading: B2
The successful candidate will be expected to stay outside the Park and be paid housing allowance since there is no official accommodation in the Park.

Requirements:
Be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate.
Must have 1 – 2 years’ experience in cashiering in a restaurant.
Knowledge of rules, regulations and procedures.
Communication skills.
Outstanding customer relations skills and ability to ensure customer priority culture.
Computer literacy.
Numeracy skills.
Ability to work with money.
Ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Operate a cash register, communicates with customers, and assists other restaurant staff as needed.
Take customer orders at the counter.
Receive food checks from waiters or customers.
Process credit card payments, accepting cash payments and making the change, and using a point of sale (POS) system for transactions. Issue customers’ receipts, refunds, and credits.
Operate as the host/hostess of the restaurant.
Assist in resolving customer complaints, and maintaining knowledge of the menu and sales policies.
Balance the cash drawer.
Assist with the banking of income generated.
Assist in payout to servers at the end of every shift.
Keep checkout areas clean and orderly and assist with stocking shelves, rotating merchandise and marking costs.
