A challenging and exciting position has opened up in the print/media industry for the correct person. The magazine has been in circulation for more than 19 years and is looking for a person to join the team from 01 December 2019.
Duties and responsibilities:
Working hours 7.30 am to 4 pm and occasional weekends
Nurture existing relationships with advertisers
Build new relationships with potential advertisers and bring in new long-term business
Must be proficient at identifying and establishing prospect lists
Update all administration documents related to the task
Coordinate with the team to produce a magnificent monthly publication
Develop strategies to increase digital sales and to increase International reach
Must be a problem solver and creative thinker, able to develop solutions based on customer need Remuneration:
A basic monthly salary of R10,000 will be offered plus an attractive performance-based commission structure depending on the suitability of the candidate.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Tertiary education, preferably with a marketing/business degree
A passion for and knowledge of aviation will be an added advantage
Two to three years of sales and marketing experience, with a proven track record
Digital Marketing experience (Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn, etc.)
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel/Word/Outlook)
Excellent communication skills (e-mail, cold calling, in-person)
Strong leadership qualities with a high level of ambition and professionalism
Must be proactive, decisive and think outside-the-box
Reliable transport
Able to work overtime (weekends/occasional overtime to meet the deadline, etc.)
Willing to attend airshows, events, and other business-related activities
