Job Advert We are looking for a Reconciliation Clerk with strong reconciliation experience up to trial balance for placement in our Payroll department.

Experience:
2 – 4 years relevant finance administration experience of which at least 2 years is reconciliation experience

Advantages: At least 3 Years Reconciliation experience.

Qualifications:
Matric
Advantage is a Finance/Accounting related qualification

Skills Needed:

Computer skills, intermediate to advanced Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and the ability to question information
Above-average numerical ability
Analytical thinking
The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Able to adhere to tight deadlines
Ability to work under pressure

Description of some of the key tasks:

Prepare reconciliations to reconcile various Balance Sheet Accounts
Query and follow up on reconciling items
Process all payroll related invoices
Ensure that all 3rd Party payments (pay-overs) and imports are done as per service level agreements.
Ensure Statutory payroll Reporting to regulatory bodies is accurate and on-time (SARS tax, ETI, Foreign tax offices, UIF, Skills levies etc)
