Purpose: Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and pick stock for orders. Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform other duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Minimum 1-2 years related experience in logistics
Working knowledge of MS Office (SAP knowledge an added advantage)
Valid Forklift Licence

Skills Required:

Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at various levels
Assist with general work around the warehouse and office when required
Assist Stock Controller with stock taking
Abide by safety rules and regulations
Ability to perform effectively under pressure
Customer and goal orientated
Problem-solving and initiative skills

Job Summary:

Accurate picking and loading of products to plan and instructions
Manage Forklift machine as per company policy
Meet all requirements within set timeframes
Consistently comply with workplace standards and practices
Consistently attain performance goals as set out and agreed upon quarterly
Implement good housekeeping and safety practices
Suggest improvements and implement new ideas to improve the effectiveness
Adhoc projects
Availability to work overtime, as required from time to time
