Job Description: We are a rapidly growing audit and accounting firm with offices in Bellville and Kenilworth, Cape Town, seeking Bookkeepers to join our team of experienced professionals. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Monthly processing of bank statements in Pastel
VAT Recons
Doing journals and invoices in Pastel when necessary
Preparation of monthly management accounts

Preparation of a full audit file including: asset registers, amortization schedules, relevant reconciliations, and supporting documents.

Minimum Requirements: • Matric
1-3 years’ experience in the accounting field
Knowledge of Pastel and SARS e-filing a must
Bookkeeping to trial balance
Knowledge of Caseware Working Papers an advantage
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Be willing to go the extra mile and take initiative
Have strong analytical ability
Have the ability to work under pressure
Have attention to detail and a sense of urgency
Own transport essential (+ valid SA Driving License)
