We are currently working alongside a Manufacturing company who have been established for over 60 years who are looking to recruit for Class 1 CE Trunker Driver

You will be responsible for delivery of products between the companies 2 sites Somerset Suffolk.

Duties:
Carryout all daily lorry checks at the start of the shift
Ensure continued load security and safety
Drive in accordance to all relevant road traffic laws and tachograph laws
Follow instructions of delivery plan
Be courteous and polite to customers
Follow customer instructions and site rules
Aid the unloading of materials on premises in accordance with the health and safety policy
Report any accidents to Transport Manager
Report any delivery problems to Transport Manager
Report any vehicle defects to Transport Manager
Ensure the security of their digital tachograph card

Requirements:

HGV Class 1 CE Licence
Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers hours
Ability to work without direct supervision
Adaptable and methodical approach to work training
Conscientious and reliable
Professional and approachable
Excellent communication skills

You must hold a full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle type CE as applicable

Hold a valid CPC licence:
