We are currently on the lookout for a Driver/General Warehouse Assistant Daily

Duties/Tasks will include:

Our Driver/Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that products are delivered to the right customer, at the right time in line with the delivery schedule.
Assist in supervising the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded
Delivering a wide variety of items to customers both short and long-distance as required
Following routes and time schedules.
Reporting any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure
Meet customers face to face and obtain delivery signatures.
Follow driving regulations and safety standards at all times
Ensuring that the at the truck is well maintained and clean both inside and out.
Assist in the warehouse with general warehouse duties if runs are finished early or if requested to do so by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Skills:

Clean, valid driving licence.
Public Driving Permit
A responsible, dependable and trustworthy demeanor
2 to 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
Good, fluent communication skills and able to build effective rapport with customers.
Good level of accuracy, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A polite, professional demeanor and effective interpersonal skills.
Able to use own initiative.
