MEDICAL ADVISOR GAUTENGA leading global company has a vacancy for a Medical Advisor. The primary role of the MA is to provide scientific information to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and to support the medical/scientific information needs of HCPs in their designated therapeutic area. The MA is to work closely with the Medical Director and Product Manager.

Responsible for the engagement of external experts and scientific and clinical exchange between the company and HCPs to build the understanding and the value to the clinical practice of the products aligned with scientific objectives in IBP.Responsible for documenting scientific interactions between the company and HCPs and for sharing the information to the Brand Team.Responsible for the execution of advocacy development plans and support execution of medical affairs activities based on IBP in collaboration with Brand Team.

Minimum Requirements: Doctor of Medicine; Ph.D. in a Science Degree. At least (minimum) 3 years experience as a Medical Science Liasion is required if he/she is not a specialist in his/her Therapeutic Area. Computer literate – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good presentation, and communication skillsGood interpersonal skills.
